This nylon machined part is used within a food processing application and was fabricated utilizing our precision CNC machining capabilities. Composed of a USDA approved blue cast nylon, the finished product had to meet many critical dimensional specifications such as parallelism of .02”, perpendicularity of .01”, and circular runout of .03”. The part also required the use of CNC turning of the inside and outside diameter and groove, as well as CNC milling of the outside profile, including drilling and tapping.

The finished size of the Nylon Machined Part is 16.25” in length, 6.88” in height, which featured an outside diameter of 4.50” to 5.50” and an inside diameter of 3.50” to 3.56”, and met tolerances of +.005”/.000”.
