CNC Milling of a PTFE Fixture Inserts for the Packaging Industry

Plastic Machining, Plastic Parts

Specializing CNC machining and milling services, we produced these fixture inserts for a packaging application utilizing our state of the art CNC milling capabilities. Composed of 25% glass filled PTFE the component required a variety of CNC milling processes, including mill profiles, pocketing, drilling, and chamfering. The customer supplied drawings called for a finished size of 7.750″ in length, 4.500″ in width and .620″ in height, and met tolerances of +.000″/-.001″, true position of .002″, and parallelism of .002″.

We produced 25 of these components for our customer in four weeks, to learn more about this project or about the rest of our CNC machining capabilities contact us directly.
